I just hid a new Geocache in Cohoes, NY. The name of the cache is “Easter in Cohoes”, because I hid it today (Easter). I think of it as my own little Easter egg hunt! The coordinates are: N 42° 46.452 W 073° 43.358. It is a small 35mm film canister and it is hidden near a local school. Here is a link (reguires login) to the cache details page. I walk my dog by this area almost everyday and I have been meaning to hide a cache here for some time now. It is a good geographic location, because about half way in between two other caches in the area. Don’t know what Geocaching is? Goto Geocaching.com and read up on it. I promise, you will be hooked after you find your first cache! Happy Easter!
EDIT: So it turns out that I placed the cache on school property, and this is a big no-no in geocaching. I will be relocating it, and will update the coordinates soon!

Bummer on the change of coordinates. As far as I know, geocaching isn’t a hobby over here in the Philippines. GPS devices (including cell phones that support it) aren’t inexpensive enough yet.

It’s a very fun hobby, and I am glad I started doing it. And yes, I have a GPS Windows Mobile cell phone, and it is not cheap, but you can buy devices here for 100 dollars.
